Inspirell opened its doors during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and continues to provide resiliency during these challenging times. The organisation created strategic alliances early in its journey with partners from Asia and South Africa. The company practices within the energy and water sector and integrates with experienced professionals that are forward thinkers. Our Founders Journey
Inspirell’s founder is Mr. Kevin Pillay who is a seasoned professional registered with the engineering council of South Africa and possesses an MBA from Honoris United Universities. He has worked on infrastructure projects for the past 26 years and enjoys making a sustainable impact on the lives of others globally.
He has travelled to the Middle-East, Africa and Asia to integrate with contemporary technology within the energy and water sector. He has been a pioneer within South Africa’s electrification sector and has connected hundreds of thousands of customers to Eskom and Municipal grids nationally. Kevin has led large international and national engineering teams on large scale shopping malls, airports, substations and waterworks in Africa and has made major strides within the illumination society of South Africa.
He has trained with South African Institute of Electrical Engineers on renewable energy projects and has been an ambassador for green hydrogen introduction to the country of Madagascar. He also plays a pivotal role in project management with PMI and is fluent with NEC, FIDIC, JBCC and GCC contracts. Kevin also has a partnered relationship with Aarnova Technologies from India for the production of large scale LED lighting for the residential, commercial and industrial client.
